Washing Windows (and OnStar!)

posted by Bess Auer , March 11 at 9:01pm

My morning:
“Your keys are on the seat!” my 13-year-old son called as he rushed out the door on the way to school this morning. My husband drives him every morning, and apparently my son had left his backpack in my Chevy Traverse.  I paid little attention as I leisurely finished my coffee before brushing my teeth and then heading for the car. (I had to be …continue reading »

Test Drive a Chevy… Get a Free Massage!

posted by Meghann Anderson , March 11 at 8:37am

One of the many perks of test driving the Chevy Traverse for the month of March is the complimentary massage the Chevy Southern Dealers treated my sister and I to at Massage Envy this afternoon.

The free massages could not have come at a better time. After Kelly’s killer half marathon this past Sunday and the Michelob Challenge I completed last weekend, I think our …continue reading »

Chevy Girlfriend Getaway Mission Two

posted by Jennifer Leet , March 10 at 9:12am

Yesterday I accepted the mission from Girlfriend Getaway to go and relax and enjoy an hour long massage at our local Massage Envy. OH. MY. GOSH. I have to admit that it was my first professional massage, but it will not be my last. I decided to take my other sister to this as she is my best friend, we have been through a …continue reading »

Mission to Shop!

posted by Meghann Anderson , March 9 at 3:06pm

This weekend a few girlfriends and I were on a mission – a mission to shop!

We loaded up in the Chevy Traverse and headed to the Mall of Millennia for some crazy shenanigans.

Here’s a peak into our crazy adventure!
I believe we can call this mission a big success!

A big thanks to the Chevy Southern Dealers for providing us with a little spending money …continue reading »

Have Your Own Parade!

posted by Bess Auer , March 8 at 9:10pm

So, my husband’s swim team wanted to march in the 31st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Winter Park.  This is one of the best parades in Central Florida, with Park Avenue being packed with people down both sides.
So, hubby Joe, Coach Kevin Meisel, and the swimmers decorated the Chevy Traverse with all sorts of Leprechauns and Blue Dolfin banners and drove to the start.  It …continue reading »

Chevy Features I’m Loving So Far

posted by Caitlin Boyle , March 8 at 3:31pm

I’ve already written about my love for the Traverse’s automatic open/close trunk and the OnStar system, but there are other features I love, too!
There is just so much SPACE in the Traverse.  I can easily fit tons of friends in the Traverse.  I drove a bunch of people to lunch the other day.

Another cool thing I recently noticed about the Traverse is that the …continue reading »

My first mission (fun trip) for the Girlfriend Getaway was a shopping trip to the Mall at Millenia a very awesome mall here in Orlando. I picked up my younger sister and a few friends and headed on over for a day of fun!

I picked up my little sis first and it was the first time she had seen the car and she fell …continue reading »

Traversing to School (and beyond)

posted by Bess Auer , March 4 at 8:48pm

So in addition to my blogging, I teach English at the most magical place in the world: Park Maitland School.
Park Maitland has been the premiere private school in the Orlando area since 1968.  It’s a wonderful place and many of the school’s alumni have gone on to do some pretty incredible things: acting in Hollywood (Mandy Moore andBeth Littleford), playing in the NBA (Taurean Green), …continue reading »

Why Remote Start Rocks!

posted by Meghann Anderson , March 4 at 10:56am

When I was first presented with my Chevy Traverse a couple of weeks ago Mark Hyland – a product specialist from Cecil Chevrolet in Lake County – was kind enough to give me an ‘ins and out’ tour of my new car and review a couple of the cool features.

Mark taught me how to work the AC (love that drive side and passenger side …continue reading »

Chevy Girls at the Mall

posted by Caitlin Boyle , March 4 at 10:01am

As part of the Girlfriend Getaway, I got to take my friend Ryan on a shopping spree at the mall!  Ryan is a really cool person – she’s very into healthy eating and making fun, vegan recipes.  I like hanging out with Ryan because she can exchange different ideas without being judgmental, and I always learn so much from her.

I’m the type of person …continue reading »
